Sharon Dorn Obituary, Death – Sharon Yvonne Dorn Dies at 85

Sharon Yvonne Dorn (Briles), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, died peacefully on May 7, 2025, at the age of 85. Her passing brought sadness to her family and loved ones, who remember her for her compassion, faith, and the lasting connections she built throughout her life.

Born in 1940, Sharon devoted much of her life to her family and community. She shared 68 years of marriage with her husband, Ronald Duane Dorn, building a life shaped by love, commitment, and shared experiences.

Her family remembered her as a woman whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around her. She was known for offering encouragement, listening to others, and extending a helping hand whenever someone needed support.

Faith was an important part of Sharon’s life. She was devoted to Jesus Christ and was a committed member of Christian Family Fellowship Church, where she and her husband were charter members. Her spiritual dedication and concern for others formed an important part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Sharon’s influence extended across generations. She took pride in her family and leaves behind her husband, Ronald Duane Dorn; her children, Ronald Allen Dorn, Caryn Lovern, and Eric Dorn, along with their spouses; six grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Her family will continue to cherish the memories they shared with her.

A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life was scheduled for May 16, 2025, at Christian Family Fellowship Church in Cañon City, Colorado.
